ENROLLMENT PROCESS

Full Year and Afternoon Forest School Enrollment Process

Complete an interest form for 2023-2024 or 2024-2025. This lets our Forest School Director learn more about your family and your interest in the program. The Forest School Director will be in touch with you within 48 hours.
Work with our Forest School Director to arrange a site visit to see if the program works for your child and family.
If you decide to join Forest School, your family must have current Family Membership or higher. Your child will be enrolled after membership is verified.
- Tenafly Nature Center uses Procare to collect health information, emergency contacts, and other important safety data.
- Forest School uses Seesaw to share daily updates about your child's time in the program.
Full year payment is due on the first of each month. Seasonal attendance is due up front. Payments made 5 days scheduled payment date will result in a $50 late fee.

Family Forest School Enrollment Process

Families are welcome to join the program with the links provided below. No membership is required for Family Forest School. Please feel free to email the Forest School Director if you have any questions.

"Ms. Amanda is a masterful educator, who weaves best practices in early childhood education (fine and gross motor, literacy, math/science) into a nature and play-based curriculum. Finally, she speaks and listens to students (and parents!) with such respect and caring, modeling how to cooperate, resolve conflicts, and express feelings.
